EXPERIENCE RECORD:

  Mr Guy joined Widnell, UK in 1975 and has been a Director of the Company since 1983 and was appointed Managing Director in January 1996.

  He is Managing Director of Widnell Ong Seng Goburdhun Ltd, established in 1991.

  He has had a continuous full time involvement in quantity surveying, construction cost consultancy and project management since 1968 and has a wide experience of all aspects of these professional services.

  Mr Guy has been responsible from inception to completion for the cost management and control and quantity surveying of a variety of major construction projects in the United Kingdom and Overseas.
He is also familiar with the many alternative forms of construction procurement.

  His project experience includes a number of airports, banks, hotels, offices, hospitals, retail and resort developments in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East, South and East Africa, North America, Canada and the Caribbean. He has travelled extensively in these areas.

  He currently has overall responsibility for the design, construction and fit-out of the new Headquarters Building of the Central Bank of Belize and the Central Bank of Mauritius, a major hotel resort development in the Caribbean and several hospital and several retail projects in the UK.

  Mr Guy also has a thorough understanding of the planning and cost principles of health care projects and the special requirements of their Client bodies.

Hospital projects where he has recently acted as Director are:
- King George Hospital at Goodmayes, Essex,
- Harold Wood Hospital, Romford, Essex
- Regency Nursing Home, Pimlico, London.

He has been involved in a number of airport projects which include:
- Trillium Terminal 3 Complex Toronto,
- Doha International Airport Masterplan,
- New Maintenance Hangar Gatwick Airport, London.

Mr Guy was responsible for the development of in-house computer cost planning and cost control systems and has also been a specialist lecturer at the University of Bath.
